Seasoned Firewood and logs
Our seasoned firewood or logs for sale are supplied from our tree surgery company in Hertfordshire, Brookmans Park Tree Surgery which provides us with a constant supply throughout the year.
High quality logs - less than 20% moisture content
Our logs are seasoned to produce good quality firewood and have less than 20% moisture content.
Supplied in large square bags, the firewood / log mix majority hardwood. May rarely contain traces of softwood.
This balance provides a healthy, long-lasting intense heat, whilst keeping the sap levels to a minimum. This minimises the clogging up of closed fire stoves and the soot build up in chimneys.
The Hardwood contains: Apple, Cherry, Oak, Ash, Beech, Birch, Walnut, Maple, Holly, Elm, Eucalyptus and Pear.
The softwood contains: Spruce, Fir, Pine, Cedar and Popla.
